Position Summary
The Massage Therapist provides high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients to promote relaxation, reduce stress, relieve pain, and support overall wellness. This role is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and customized treatments while maintaining a professional and client-focused environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and customized therapeutic massage services to clients.
- Maintain a professional and client-focused environment.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old.
- Valid state licensure/certification as a Massage Therapist.
- Completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism.
- CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or GED required.
- Completion of an accredited Massage Therapy program.
- Coursework in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology strongly preferred.
Work Environment
- Conducted in a private setting with clients on an individual basis.
- Physical Activities: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to reach, grasp, and handle small objects, tools, or equipment with precision.
- Ability to monitor participants, ensure safety, and respond to signals or emergencies.
