Massage Therapist

Position Summary

The Massage Therapist provides high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients to promote relaxation, reduce stress, relieve pain, and support overall wellness. This role is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and customized treatments while maintaining a professional and client-focused environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Valid state licensure/certification as a Massage Therapist.
• Completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism.
• CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days.

Education and Experience

• A high school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Massage Therapy program.
• Coursework in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology strongly preferred.

Work Environment

• Conducted in a private setting with clients on an individual basis.
• Physical Activities: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to reach, grasp, and handle small objects, tools, or equipment with precision.
• Ability to monitor participants, ensure safety, and respond to signals or emergencies.
