About the role
Twin Farms is a private, all-inclusive luxury resort located in the serene hills of Barnard, Vermont. The resort is renowned for its Forbes Five-Star hospitality, exceptional farm-to-table dining, and deeply personalized service. This role is part of a team dedicated to creating a calm, personalized experience for each guest.
Responsibilities
- Provide massage and body treatments in line with our service standards and guest expectations
- Tailor each service to the individual needs of the guest, including assessing any contraindications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment, following all sanitation and safety protocols
- Stay knowledgeable about all spa services and products, and confidently guide guests with recommendations when appropriate
- Ensure all treatments begin and end on time
- Keep treatment notes and guest records as needed
- Support daily spa operations, including opening/closing duties and general upkeep of work areas
- Communicate product or supply needs to management
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
- Create a warm, professional, and attentive experience from start to finish
- Answer guest questions with confidence and care
- Respond thoughtfully to guest needs, requests, or concerns
- Help promote other spa services and amenities in a natural, helpful way
Qualifications
- Valid state license in massage therapy (required)
- Previous experience in massage or bodywork
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with guests
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Comfortable recommending products and services
- Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities smoothly
Compensation
Approx. $80–$85 per 60-minute service (includes base pay + commission), additional earnings through gratuities and retail commission. Total compensation varies based on experience, performance, and service volume.
Schedule & Physical Requirements
- Availability may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active work
- Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs and performing repetitive motions associated with massage therapy
