Massage Therapist - Reiki

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality massage therapy services in a tranquil, spa-like setting
• C Conduct Reiki and energy healing sessions tailored to individual client needs
• Perform client consultations & assessments to determine appropriate treatment approaches
• Integrate complementary therapies such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy when appropriate
• Educate clients on energy healing principles, self-care, and wellness practices
• Maintain clear, accurate, & respectful documentation of client sessions & progress
• Uphold cleanliness, safety, professionalism, & energetic integrity of treatment spaces
• Collaborate with other wellness professionals to support comprehensive, client-centered care
• Assist with planning, booking, & scheduling client and member appointments as needed
• S Stay informed on developments in holistic health, pain management, and related wellness practices
• P Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations & the client experience

Required Qualifications

• A Active South Carolina Massage Therapy License
• R Reiki training or certification (Level I or higher required; Master level strongly preferred)
• K Strong knowledge of massage techniques, anatomy, physiology, and relevant medical terminology
• E Experience providing client-centered care in a wellness, spa, or med spa environment
• I Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• P Professional demeanor, presentation, and reliability
• G Commitment to ethical practice, personal growth, and holistic wellness

Preferred Qualifications

• C Certified Reiki Master Practitioner
• X Prior med spa or integrative wellness experience
• T Experience with deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
• D Strong understanding of pain management and energy balancing techniques
• B Interest in mind-body-spirit approaches to healing

Physical Requirements

• A Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to:- 15 lbs. regularly
• B 25 lbs. frequently
• C 50 lbs. occasionally
• F Ability to perform massage and bodywork services for extended periods of time up to 15 hours per week if necessary
