About the role

Reporting to the Spa Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service while assisting Guests and Owners with spa and hotel information.
  • Perform 30, 45, 60, 90, and 120-minute massage treatments, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction throughout.
  • Deliver personalized service by recognizing and responding to each Guest’s individual needs and expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in safe working order.
  • Support other areas of the Spa operation, including body treatments, product knowledge, and retail sales.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Fluency in verbal and written English required.
  • Previous experience as a licensed Massage Therapist.
  • Certification from an accredited massage therapy school and current professional license(s) required; dual licensure is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve issues calmly and professionally.
  • Highly responsible and reliable; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • Able to remain focused on guest needs while maintaining a calm, courteous, and professional demeanor.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Must be able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule—this is not an on-call position. W-4 employment is required.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with spa operations and customer service.
  • Knowledge of spa products and treatments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good physical condition to perform tasks such as frequent standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 20 lbs., and occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting, and climbing stairs, ramps, or ladders.

Pay

Starting hourly wage: Starting $20.02 per hour. Treatment commission, commission based on experience and additional factors.

Schedule

Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
