About the role
Mii amo is a fast-paced, collaborative, and inclusive resort where we create and deliver personalized extraordinary experiences for guests and team members. This role focuses on training service providers and assisting with operations to build a proper service culture, with an emphasis on Forbes standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and coordinate training programs for Mii amo Service Providers, including orientation, Forbes Standards, customer service, Protocol training, and other necessary sessions.
- Block therapists and manage schedules for trainings.
- Manage treatment rooms for trainings.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of all services and products.
- Develop treatment protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support service offerings.
- Assist with on-boarding new hires, providing training on services, service culture, and standards.
- Work with Spa leadership to ensure proper implementation of SOPs, training manuals, onboarding, and daily checklists.
- Coordinate with product/tech vendor partners to provide team training, protocols, and procedures.
- Inspect Forbes Training standards and incorporate them into protocols, procedures, and trainings.
- Assist in reviewing Quality Assurance (QA) with the Spa leadership team to identify areas for improved consistency and service execution, refining training for improvement.
- Assist the Training Manager with trainings and materials as requested.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the Mii amo team.
- Maintain confidentiality of Mii amo information at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, and/or equivalent work experience.
- Arizona State licensed.
- At least 5 years of spa treatment experience, currently employed at Mii amo as a Service Practitioner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task priorities.
- Training skills.
- Self-motivated, ability to work with little supervision, and organized.
- Dependable and willing to learn new procedures and methods.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Strong team member relations skills.
Physical Requirements
- 60% sitting, 40% walking, standing, and bending.
- Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Hearing and manual dexterity.
- Use of cleaning solutions.
- Distance vision 1-3 feet.
