Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide professional massage services including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and other therapeutic techniques based on client needs
  • Conduct client consultations to assess physical condition, medical history, and specific concerns prior to treatment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and serene treatment space in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Ensure guest comfort and safety throughout each session by explaining procedures, adjusting techniques, and responding to feedback
  • Keep accurate records of client treatments, preferences, and any relevant observations
  • Recommend appropriate spa products and wellness practices to enhance guests' at-home care
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry techniques and certifications
  • Collaborate with other spa team members to deliver a seamless and exceptional guest experience

Education And Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an accredited massage therapy program
  • Valid state massage therapy license or certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a spa, wellness center, or clinical environment preferred, but not required

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of massage techniques, anatomy, and physiology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
  • Professional demeanor with a focus on customer service and guest satisfaction
  • Ability to maintain physical stamina to perform multiple treatments per shift
  • Understanding of contraindications, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation And Benefits
