Massage Therapist - FT

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Apply external manipulations to stimulate circulation, reduce muscle tension and promote relaxation.
• Organize room and supplies prior to services and sanitizes room at completion of services.
• Maintain professional proficiency in state-of-the-art techniques, procedures, equipment and all phases of the massage process.
• Promote the sale of salon/spa products and services.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess a current NY state license in massage therapy.
• Maintain license during employment, responsible for renewal of license.
• Possess well-developed customer service techniques and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients.

Salary

Starting Rate $13.30
Currency compensation is negotiable based on experience and education. Each position has varying minimum qualifications. In the absence of fully qualified candidates, some requirements may be waived.
