About the role
Create Moments of Renewal and Connection. Dune House is entering an entirely new era, and every role plays an important part in bringing our vision to life. As a Massage Therapist, you will help create meaningful experiences of relaxation, restoration, and well-being for every guest who visits our spa.
Responsibilities
- Administers professional massage and body treatments to our guests.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, possess a general understanding of body treatments and be willing to train in our spa’s specific massage and body treatment offerings.
- Communicate and educate our guests about specific wellness concerns.
- Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
- Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
- Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.
- Participate in home care programs, meeting minimum retail sales goals of 3%.
- Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
- Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
Requirements
- Hold and maintain a current state license with a minimum of 500 hours of training.
- High School diploma or equivalent and required technical certificates.
- Experience 1 year preferred.

- Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service issues, including stressful and highly emotional situations.
- Must be highly organized and able to pay attention to minute written and verbal details, particularly when performing multiple tasks.
