About the role
13-week travel assignment as an Occupational Therapist in a community hospital in Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating patient conditions and needs
- Developing and implementing treatment plans to meet patient goals
- Assessing and recommending adaptations for home and work environments to enhance independence
- Training patients and caregivers on equipment use
- Documenting progress for evaluation and billing purposes
Qualifications
- Doctorate or Master’s in Occupational Therapy
- Current CPR certification
- Licensure in Iowa
- Preferred experience in acute care, outpatient adult therapy, and pediatrics
- Certified Lymphedema Therapist
Skills
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, patient education, and documentation abilities in collaborative healthcare settings
