Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an assignment in San Antonio, Texas.
About the role
Ready for your next acute care opportunity? This 13-week travel contract offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts in an acute care hospital setting. The position starts as soon as possible and may be extended.
Responsibilities
- Help patients regain and maintain the skills needed to live and work independently.
- Provide OT treatment and patient care according to facility guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other caregivers.
- Delegate and supervise occupational therapist assistants as needed.
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel.
Pay
$1,580 - $1,755 per week. Estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals.
