About the role
As a Massage Therapist at The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern, you will provide high-quality, personalized spa services to our valued guests. Your responsibilities include greeting guests, escorting them to and from treatment rooms, preparing treatment spaces according to guest preferences, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring guest comfort and safety during treatments, and actively promoting the spa and its offerings.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to and from treatment rooms
- Prepare treatment rooms to client specifications
- Clean and restock treatment rooms as needed
- Maintain guest comfort and safety during treatments
- Ensure the work area and spa areas remain immaculate
- Communicate any incidents involving staff or guests to management
- Promote spa services, treatments, and amenities to guests
- Participate in training and staff meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a licensed massage therapist
- Valid Massage Therapist State License required
- Experience in a luxury spa and/or hotel spa environment preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professionalism and a passion for the healing arts
- Able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to working at least 3 days per week, including weekends
