Massage Therapist

About the Role

Our team at Hotel Bardo Savannah is looking for a friendly, experienced Massage Therapist who is passionate about providing relaxing, personalized service for our guests at our spa facility, Saltgrass. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to enhancing the guests’ well-being through exceptional and personalized spa treatments. In this role, you will use your expertise and commitment to outstanding customer service to play a pivotal role in ensuring our spa becomes a destination for refined relaxation. This is an onsite position located at Hotel Bardo Savannah.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massages tailored to each guest’s preferences and needs from individual to group experiences and special events
• Maintain a pristine and inviting treatment space, upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation for a therapeutic and seamless experience
• Consult with clients regarding their current needs, medical history, and overall wellness goals
• Assist clients with their ongoing wellness by recommending personalized treatment plans
• Collaborate with fellow spa and fitness professionals to create a seamless and memorable spa experience for guests that encompasses holistic and personalized care
• Stay informed about the latest massage techniques and wellness trends to continuously enhance your skills and education of technique and product knowledge
• Maintain working knowledge of the Bardo brand, resort programming and offerings—acting as a trusted resource to guests and members

Qualifications

• Current Georgia License for massage therapy
• Previous experience in a luxury spa environment is preferred
• Proven experience in performing a variety of massage techniques and treatments
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills
• In-depth knowledge of spa and massage products, ingredients, and the ability to make personalized recommendations
• Excellent grooming and presentation standards
• Knowledge of proper health, safety, and sanitation practices
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
