Position Purpose & Summary

Massage Therapists provide professional massage, body treatments, and spa service recommendations to enhance spa engagement and revenue sales.

Essential Functions

  • Provide services associated with Massage and Body Treatments.
  • Greet and welcome members and guests to the Spa/Salon.
  • Communicate clearly with members, guests, and spa staff to achieve desired results.
  • Perform all support tasks associated with providing services assigned (set-ups and break down of treatment rooms, stocking and inventory of supplies, stocking and removal of linen, etc.).
  • Performing Massage and Body treatments, including specialty services developed by the Spa.
  • Avoid delays in scheduled services and tasks using provided protocols.
  • Provide after care guidelines to clients.
  • Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the workplace and effective communication amongst coworkers.
  • Create a database of frequent clients.
  • Assist members and guests with questions regarding the Spa and the Club.
  • Deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.
  • Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum Knowledge & Skills: 2 years' experience in resort, club, or day spa experience.
  • Education and Job-Related Experience: High School graduate.
  • Licenses, Registrations, and/or Certifications Required: Current State of Colorado Massage License.
  • Additional Licenses and/or Certifications Required: CPR Certification, Food Protection Manager Certification, Food Handler Certification, Alcohol Server/Seller Certification.

Marginal Functions

  • Interface positively with other departments, offering assistance when needed.
  • Displays care in use of equipment and maintains an organized and professional work environment.

Environmental Factors

  • Indoor setting with overhead lighting and comfortable ventilation.
  • May occasionally be called upon to work in all areas of the property, both inside and outside, possibly in inclement weather.
