Role And Responsibilities The Massage Therapist provides professional massage and body treatments to spa clients, utilizing various modalities and maintaining knowledge of body treatments. They deliver excellent customer service, communicate effectively, and perform special projects as assigned by management. They must operate relevant equipment and ensure client confidentiality. Qualifications And Skills A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference given to candidates with two years of licensed or certified massage therapy experience and post-secondary education. Additional training in modalities such as Reflexology, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, and Stone Therapy is highly desirable. Skills include adaptability, organizational ability, decision-making, independence, effective communication, patience, sensitivity, confidentiality, and artistic/digital skills. Key Duties Administer massage and body treatments, learn and perform specific spa offerings, ensure client satisfaction, and collaborate with team members. Must operate equipment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
