Essential Functions
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and answer any questions or inquiries
- Discuss with clients about their symptoms, medical history, and desired results
- Evaluate clients to assess any conditions, joint quality and function, muscle strength, range of motion, and locate painful or tender areas of the body
- Massage and knead the muscles and soft tissues of the human body to administer therapy treatments based on individual needs, such as medical conditions, injuries, or wellness maintenance
- Prepare and blend oils and apply the blends to clients' skin
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the massage room before, during, and after each session
- Document and maintain detailed and accurate treatment records of clients, and the client's conditions and progress
- Attend and participate in meetings and continuous training sessions
Requirements
- Massage Therapy License (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Minimum of two (2) + years relevant work experience (preferred)
- Flexible schedule to include late afternoon and evening hours, weekends and overtime as needed to provide support
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds
- Attentive to detail & highly motivated to succeed
