Pioneer Metal Finishing is a leading surface engineering company in North America, offering consistent, quality metal finishing solutions for mission-critical applications in various industries.
Responsibilities
- Apply and remove masking and plugging materials to customer product in a safe, productive manner in accordance with customer requirements.
- Perform masking methods based on customer product specifications.
- Prepare raw material for masking, including hand wiping and blowing out holes.
- Helps monitor inventory levels and request to purchase supplies and materials to meet production requirements in a timely manner.
- Assists in the inspection of product and notifies the Team Leader/Supervisor of any non-conformances.
- Records masking details on the job ticket and any necessary information on the work order as required.
- Packages parts to safely transport to production areas.
- Accurately complete the necessary forms and adhere to scheduling due dates.
- Works safely at all times and complies with all safety regulations while working with hazardous materials and chemicals.
- Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner.
- Works with a positive attitude and reports all questions or problems to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Performs other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed.
Requirements
- Entry-level candidates welcome — no prior manufacturing experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
- Ability to read and understand work orders and safety instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to heat, noise, and industrial equipment.
- Work around sharp parts, heavy carts, and process lines.
- Use of hearing protection and other safety equipment.
- Various chemicals used in process.
Skills

Pay
Starting at $18.00/hour, with a performance/pay review after 90 days and same-day pay.
Schedule
First Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday), with occasional Saturdays as needed.
