About the role
Maintain and prepare metal components for various manufacturing processes. Perform tasks such as cleaning, degreasing, and sanding.
Responsibilities
- Prepare metal parts for painting or coating
- Clean and degrease metal surfaces using appropriate chemicals and equipment
- Sand and polish metal components to specified specifications
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operations
- Work in a team environment to meet production targets
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related experience in metal fabrication or similar field
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions
- Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks
Qualifications
- Knowledge of metalworking techniques and materials
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing setting
- Proficiency with common hand tools and equipment
