Maryland State Inspector- Pohanka Service Center

Responsibilities

• Complete Maryland State Inspections
• Examine and diagnose vehicles
• Discuss repairs with shop personnel or service advisors
• Communicate additional service requests to service advisors
• Complete records and/or documentation for client repairs
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations

Qualifications

• MSI Certification required
• Able to pass pre-employment background checks, MVR, and drug screen
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic Computer skills
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Math, reading, and computer skills
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

About the Role

The Pohanka Service Center in Salisbury, MD is looking to add experienced and certified Maryland State Inspectors to join our team. We provide an excellent working environment and a temperature-controlled shop. As the MSI, you will be responsible for performing Maryland state inspections as well as troubleshooting issues for maximum reliability and functionality.
