Pohanka Nissan of Salisbury is seeking an experienced and certified Maryland State Inspector. This position involves performing Maryland state inspections and troubleshooting vehicle issues to ensure reliability and functionality. The ideal candidate must hold an MSI certification.

Responsibilities

- Complete Maryland State Inspections - Examine and diagnose vehicles - Discuss repairs with shop personnel or service advisors - Communicate additional service requests to service advisors - Complete records and/or documentation for client repairs - Follow federal, state, and local regulations

Qualifications

- MSI Certification required - Pass pre-employment background checks, MVR, and drug screen - Excellent customer service skills - Basic computer skills - Positive, friendly attitude, customer service mindset - Fast-paced environment experience - Strong oral and written communication skills - Valid driver’s license - Math, reading, and computer skills - Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures, and specifications - Operate electronic diagnostic equipment
