Working Conditions
Salaries do not reflect the recent changes due to the implementation of the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025).
Minimum Requirements
- Possession of a current/valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
- Education: If using academic education above the twelfth grade to meet minimum qualifications, include a copy of your degree and/or Informal (Unofficial) School Transcripts.
Special Requirements
- Background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting.
- Tuberculosis (TB) testing is required for candidates new to CCHCS prior to appointment followed by department annual TB testing/evaluation thereafter.
Desirable Qualifications

- Possession of a valid Associate Marriage & Family Therapist license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
