Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to inmates.
• Assess and diagnose mental health issues and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Conduct intake assessments and maintain client records.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Requirements

• Current/Valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
• Experience working with incarcerated populations.
• Knowledge of correctional settings and mental health treatment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with inmates, staff, and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Pass a background check and TB test.

• Proficiency in computer software for documentation and record-keeping.
