Marketplace Manager
About the role
Help brands win on Amazon and love where you work. Based in San Diego, CA, this role is perfect for a sharp, driven marketplace operator with 3+ years of e-commerce management experience.
Responsibilities
Define and execute e-commerce growth strategies aligned with company goals.
Lead international Amazon marketplace launches (UK, EU, CA, and more) and expand presence across off-Amazon platforms including TikTok Shop, Walmart, Coupang, and Target.
Launch, manage, and optimize product listings across Amazon International and alternative marketplaces — including content, SEO, A+ content, and storefronts.
Collaborate with PPC Strategists to plan and optimize campaigns. Translate business goals into clear ad strategies and creative requirements, track ad ROI, and guide spend allocation with data-driven recommendations.
Coordinate projects across Brand Management, Advertising, Supply Chain, Compliance, Catalog, and Content teams. Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements across the e-commerce workflow.
Monitor KPIs, sales trends, and campaign performance to inform decision-making. Conduct competitor analysis and identify market expansion opportunities.
Support inventory forecasting, replenishment, and logistics coordination. Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and resolve operational issues quickly.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Strong understanding of retail media and digital advertising principles (Amazon PPC, Walmart Connect).
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills (Google Sheets, Excel, Seller Central reports, BI tools) to track KPI trends and identify whitespace opportunities.
Cross-functional collaborator who works seamlessly with PPC, Content, and Operations teams.
Clear, direct communicator with fluency in English.
Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, small-team environment.
Preferred
Deep expertise in Seller Central; Vendor Central experience.
Experience managing multi-brand portfolios in an agency environment.
Familiarity with Walmart Marketplace, Target Plus, or other third-party channels.
Experience with Amazon DSP or Sponsored Ads campaign management.
Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, or equivalent.
Comfort working in AI-assisted workflows and a willingness to adopt emerging automation tools.
