About the Role

As a Marketing Science Group Director, you’ll leverage your extensive client-consulting experience to serve as a subject-matter expert. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify, prioritize, and address clients’ business needs while developing a deep understanding of their categories to craft custom data practices.

You excel in all five sub-disciplines of Marketing Science—tracking and measurement, data visualization, testing and evaluation, data integration, and statistical modeling—and have deep expertise in at least two. You’ll also supervise and develop a team of analysts, guiding their work priorities, timelines, deliverables, and training while exposing them to all Marketing Science sub-disciplines to build their expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Understand data, data management, data infrastructure, and marketing applications.
  • Effectively communicate and present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Manage teams and projects, including training and staff development.
  • Apply empirical practice in digital experience design and optimization.
  • Deliver complex, multi-stage projects with multiple contributors on time.
  • Creatively solve problems, improve processes, and design methodically.
  • Distill large quantities of information into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Articulate ideas and concepts in visually compelling formats.
  • Approach each project and problem with a fresh perspective.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in the marketing industry.
  • 5+ years in the online measurement industry managing teams.
  • Strong collaboration, project management, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences (creative, tech, media, project management, account, and client teams).
  • Mentorship and management skills for team development.
  • Proficiency in current online marketing trends, with an emphasis on emerging media and mobile platforms.
  • Insatiable curiosity and a sense of humor.

Pay

$190,000–$230,000 (New York).

Schedule

Omnicom requires employees to work in the office a minimum of three days per week, with potential for additional in-office days as directed by the agency or manager. The goal is to increase in-office attendance over time, with many agencies already requiring five days per week.
