About the role

A Marketing Officer is responsible for a wide range of marketing activities that promote the organization, its products, and services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and present new activities for special holidays and commemorative days.
  • Promote new products through media channels and social media.
  • Manage the website and Facebook page.
  • Acquire new customers.
  • Write promotional and advertising copy.
  • Conceptualize and develop ideas related to trade show activities.
  • Provide support for company actions and events.
  • Conduct competitive analyses on a quarterly basis.
  • Co-develop and implement the marketing plan.
  • Prepare, execute, and coordinate all marketing activities (e.g., advertising campaigns or trade shows).
  • Organize and conduct customer and market research.
  • Maintain contact with relevant external parties (e.g., customers, suppliers, media, competitors).
  • Approach potential clients via email or phone calls.
  • Advise both executive and management teams on marketing strategies and the appropriate marketing mix.
  • Prepare and present offers or new projects.
  • Build support (internally and externally) for new marketing campaigns.
  • Develop, launch, and execute online marketing and advertising campaigns, such as via Google Ads or social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Contribute to the optimization of brand identity and tone of voice for a brand, product, service, or organization.
  • Monitor and analyze the success of marketing campaigns (both offline and online).
  • Co-develop and distribute press releases and newsletters.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in PR, communications, and sales.
  • Stay updated with relevant developments in the marketing field.
  • Set up, manage, and optimize the website.
  • Assist with social media management and guidelines.

Requirements

  • MBO+ / Marketing-related education.
  • Experience as a marketing employee or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

Skills

  • Technical proficiency in marketing systems and tools (e.g., Google Ads, social media platforms).
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills.
  • Analytical skills for monitoring and evaluating campaign success.
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute marketing strategies.
