About the role
We are seeking a Marketing/Sales Representative to join our team! Diligent Home Health Care is dedicated to improving the lives of seniors in their homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving referral growth and improving brand visibility. Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Be a resource for community organizations and families. The role combines field-based business development with strategic marketing activities while maintaining ethical and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Build and sustain referral relationships with organizations within the community and in the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular in-person visits, follow-ups, cold outreach, and email campaigns to target high-value referral partners.
- Represent Diligent at community events and professional meetings; coordinate with intake, nursing, and operations to ensure timely admissions, accurate documentation, and positive client outcomes.
- Plan, develop, create, and distribute authorized marketing material.
- Track outreach activity, referral sources, pipeline status, and submit weekly activity reports and monthly performance summaries.
- Achieve territory goals for qualified referrals and admissions; manage territory schedule, expense reporting, and mileage reconciliation.
Qualifications
- 2+ years sales, business development, or marketing experience; healthcare/home health or post‑acute care experience or knowledge strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of building professional referral networks and meeting measurable targets.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Jacksonville; flexible hours for evening/weekend events as needed.
- High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screens.
- Experience analyzing data, developing spreadsheets and presentations.
- Proven ability to generate and maintain contact database.
- Professional attire required.
