Marketing Project Manager

About the role
The successful candidate will deliver on commitments, demonstrating personal accountability for client projects and organizational achievements. You will take a leadership role in all projects you oversee, building strong internal relationships to work well across various agency stakeholders, including Account Management, Strategy, Creative, Media, Technology, and Operations. You will ensure all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on brief. You thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, adept at managing multiple projects and priorities while responding to last-minute changes. Experience in digital marketing is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Workflow management
- Demonstrate leadership to ensure implemented processes are followed and support new ones as required.
- Identify ways to improve delivery on commitments.
- Project management
- Plan, schedule, resource, and implement a wide range of marketing initiatives.
- Ensure projects run smoothly by anticipating and addressing issues and roadblocks.
- Prepare estimates, project documentation, schedules, and status reports; provide administrative support as needed.
- Understand internal processes and craft experts' needs to enable their best work.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and internal teams to ensure thorough briefs, realistic timelines, and delivery within budget.
- Provide direction and support to internal teams for successful work delivery.
- Manage project profitability.
- Communications
- Clearly and consistently communicate goals, responsibilities, performance expectations, and feedback with internal teams.
- Communicate directly with clients to keep projects moving forward efficiently and professionally.
Requirements
- 2+ years of related work experience and a post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects involving cross-functional teams within budgetary and schedule constraints.
- Experience managing fully integrated marketing campaigns, including Marketing Automation and Media components.
- Experience with Project Management tools such as Asana, Workbook, Wrike, Jira, or Scoro.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in an energetic team environment.
- Strong collaboration and leadership aptitude.
- Experience developing briefing documents, defining project goals and objectives, identifying risks, developing timelines and budgets, scheduling resources, and managing milestones and deliverables.
- Proven experience leading or supporting marketing initiatives within an agency environment, with a strong understanding of client service, campaign delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Detail-oriented approach and excellent organizational skills.
- PMP certification is an asset.

This position requires candidates to be eligible to work in the United States or Canada without visa sponsorship. This is a remote role, required to work in EST hours.
Pay
The anticipated salary range for this role is $55,000 to $70,000. Final compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate’s qualifications, and additional flexibility may be considered for candidates whose experience and expertise significantly exceed the role’s core requirements.
