Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features that enhance the Squarespace platform.
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our users.
- Participate in agile development cycles, providing feedback and iterating on product features.
- Work closely with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and user-friendly experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in software development or a related field.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
- Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby.
- Knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
Qualifications
- Passion for creating user-friendly and scalable web applications.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative development processes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript and modern web development practices.
- Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.
