Marketing Operations Manager
About the role
The Marketing Operations Manager oversees the operational aspects of the marketing team, including ticketing, workflows, reporting, website support, and CRM processes. This role ensures efficient team operation, meets deadlines, and maintains marketing systems. Directly managing the graphic designer, this role also partners closely with Content Marketing to provide necessary technical, data, and process support.
Responsibilities
- Manage the marketing ticket queue: intake, assignment, prioritization, and deadlines
- Maintain internal workflows and approval processes
- Ensure requests align with marketing priorities and escalate conflicts as needed
- Maintain and update internal documentation and SOPs
- Ensure assets and requests move efficiently across cross-functional teams
- Directly manage the graphic designer (workload, priorities, performance feedback)
- Translate content needs into clear creative briefs, timelines, and deliverables
- Ensure design work aligns with brand standards and campaign objectives
- Review and approve final assets for quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Optimize creative workflows, asset management, and production timelines
- Support enforcement of brand guidelines across all materials
- Own technical execution of website updates within the CMS
- Build and publish pages (modules, formatting, structure, uploads, QA)
- Ensure functional accuracy, accessibility, and responsiveness
- Partner with Content Marketing Manager to define structure and messaging
- Troubleshoot and resolve publishing or technical issues
- Own Google Analytics dashboards (traffic, engagement, keyword opportunities, trends)
- Manage Mailchimp reporting (open rate, CTR, deliverability, segmentation insights)
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance summaries
- Own marketing-related CRM processes and data integrity
- Build and segment lists for campaign targeting
- Manage campaign setup, uploads/imports, and audience tracking
- Support execution of email and campaign delivery through CRM tools
- Partner with Sales Ops/IT for more complex Salesforce needs
Qualifications
- 3–4 years in marketing operations or similar role
- Experience with Google Analytics, JIRA (project management tools), and email marketing platforms
- Understanding of WordPress platform
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Basic familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
- Comfortable learning new systems and source technical workflows
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for light email or web support (plus)
