Marketing Operations Analyst (Marketo)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution and deployment of email marketing campaigns within Marketo, including email builds, smart lists, program setup, testing, approvals, and distribution.
  • Maintain database integrity, audience segmentation, lead management, and list hygiene to support targeted marketing efforts.
  • Build and optimize automated campaigns, nurture programs, and lead scoring initiatives.
  • Maintain the marketing content calendar in partnership with Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Validate the accuracy of automatically generated fund-related email content and data.
  • Troubleshoot campaign, deliverability, rendering, and automation issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, scalability, and marketing automation.
  • Serve as the primary marketing reporting resource for Sales, providing dashboards, insights, and performance reporting.
  • Develop and maintain reporting solutions using Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and BI tools.
  • Analyze campaign performance, lead engagement, and marketing effectiveness across digital channels.
  • Utilize SQL and other data tools to extract, transform, and analyze marketing data.
  • Present actionable recommendations to improve campaign performance and business outcomes.
  • Conduct market and competitive research to support marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Drive automation and process improvements across marketing operations and reporting workflows.
  • Support web content publishing and related digital marketing initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing analytics, digital marketing, or a related role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Marketo, including campaign execution, automation, segmentation, database management, and reporting.
  • Experience with Salesforce and CRM reporting.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, including Google Analytics and BI platforms such as Domo, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Working knowledge of SQL; Python or R is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email and web content updates.

Qualifications

  • Past experience in FinServ industry is a huge plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
  • Experience in financial services or asset management is preferred.
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to balance strategic analysis with operational execution.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to work in office a minimum of four days per week.
