Marketing Manager (Spirits Brand)
Job Summary
Roc Nation is seeking a Marketing Manager for a spirits brand. The role reports to the Creative Strategy Director and is based in New York, NY.
About the role
This role will lead the marketing strategy and storytelling for a Roc Nation spirits brand, bridging influential voices, elevated nightlife, and curated experiences to build a brand that feels culturally relevant and inherently credible. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the larger creative & digital team to drive integrated campaigns, cultural moments, and on- and off-premise activations.
Key Areas of Focus
Brand Strategy: Lead the development of brand campaigns, creative briefs, and seasonal programs rooted in craft, origin, and modern ritual. Shape a narrative that thoughtfully integrates cultural influence and authentic brand storytelling, ensuring the brand stands on its own while benefiting from aligned voices and platforms.
Campaign Development & Execution: Own the creation of 360° integrated campaigns across digital, social, influencer, experiential, and traditional channels. Partner with Roc Nation creative team to build a cohesive brand world—balancing cultural visibility with intentional, high-quality storytelling. Collaborate with an in-house multimedia team to capture atmosphere, energy, and detail, ensuring all outputs feel considered and aligned with the brand’s tone and presence.
Brand Ambassador & Influencers: Leverage access to artists, content creators, and partners to extend the brand’s reach. Develop partnerships beyond endorsement—creating shared moments, rituals, and experiences that deepen brand connection. Identify and collaborate with creators and hospitality voices who bring credibility within cocktail, nightlife, and cultural spaces.
Trade Marketing: Develop retail and on-premise activation programs to support sales initiatives. Manage and develop POS materials, product education tools, and promotional programs for distributors and key accounts. Partner with sales and distribution teams to ensure the brand earns placement in key accounts and influential venues, reinforcing both trial and repeat engagement.
Experiential & Events: Lead brand presence across music festivals, invite-only tastings, nightlife activations, and VIP experiences. Manage event budgets, planning, logistics, and post-event performance measurement. Ensure brand ambassadors deliver authentic, high-quality consumer experiences.
Agility & Innovation: Bring forward fresh ideas rooted in culture, mixology, hospitality, and consumer behavior. Learn quickly when facing new problems, analyze both successes and failures for clues to improvement; experiment and find new solutions. Stay sharp on category innovations, emerging platforms, and shifts in consumer expectations.
Drive for Results: Operate with focus and accountability to deliver high-impact work. Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining a strong emphasis on quality, consistency, and brand integrity.
Leadership & Communication: Communicate effectively across internal teams, agencies, distributors, and partners. Ensure alignment across all stakeholders while upholding a consistent brand voice across consumer and trade touch points.
Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years of experience in spirits, beverage alcohol, CPG, or lifestyle marketing.
Understanding: Strong understanding of culture-driven or talent-led brands.
Passion: Passion for spirits, cocktail culture, nightlife, and hospitality.
Skills: Proven ability to translate strategy into integrated, insight-driven campaigns; deep knowledge of social platforms, influencer ecosystems, and content strategy; familiarity with the three-tier system and alcohol regulations preferred; strong communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Pay
The expected compensation for this position is $68,000.00 USD - $85,000.00 USD. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
