About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and innovative Marketing Manager to join Reviews.org’s dynamic team. This role is pivotal in expanding the company's organic reach beyond traditional search engine optimization (SEO) and diversifying revenue streams through new channels and business models. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and scaling marketing channels such as video, email, and content syndication, as well as experience in developing new monetization strategies from the ground up. As a leader, you will oversee a cross-functional team, collaborating closely with editorial, content, compliance, and analytics teams to craft a long-term marketing roadmap. This position offers the autonomy to test and implement new initiatives, measure their success, and iterate quickly to achieve sustainable growth. The role is remote-first, with hybrid options available for candidates near Salt Lake City, Utah, emphasizing flexibility and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, including building channels beyond paid/organic search.
  • Proven success in developing new marketing channels or revenue streams from scratch.
  • Experience managing and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar.
  • Knowledge of diverse revenue models including partnerships, lead generation, subscriptions, or licensing.
  • Independent thinker with minimal supervision and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating data insights into compelling stories for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute organic expansion strategies by building and scaling channels like video, email, and syndication to drive sustainable audience growth.
  • Set baselines, targets, and measurement frameworks for each channel, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with editorial and SEO teams to reinforce search and non-search channels, optimizing resource allocation.
  • Identify and test new revenue opportunities, including new partners, formats, or monetization mechanics, and build business cases for scaling successful initiatives.
  • Manage and develop a cross-functional marketing team, fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and excellence.
  • Develop strategic plans for new marketing channels and revenue lines, securing stakeholder buy-in and executing iteratively.
  • Collaborate with product, compliance, and analytics teams to ensure initiatives meet business goals and adhere to standards.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Regularly report on performance metrics, forecast accuracy, and progress toward KPIs, making data-driven decisions to optimize efforts.
