Job Overview
This hybrid position may report to our corporate offices in either Chicago, IL; Hoffman Estates, IL; or Bloomington, MN. This role requires occasional travel to the respective markets, with additional travel as needed.
Your Responsibilities
- Work with the Director of Marketing, North Region, to manage integrated marketing for Illinois and Minnesota, balancing the global marketing plan with local plans for events, advertising and pursuit plans.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders in their markets including the business development team, operations and human resources. Alignment between sales and marketing will be a key focus for this role and their relationship with the business development team will be key to their success.
- Execute local go-to market marketing plans tied to the pursuit plans for the market(s), leading local execution and briefing the lead generation team for growth marketing campaigns including email campaigns and digital advertising.
- Manage event planning for the Midwest from kick off through to execution and including planning sessions, drafting invitations, landing pages, managing registration, running webinars, and developing the post event plan. Provide the business development team with tools for their pursuit outreach related to events.
- Develop a local sponsorship program for the market(s), securing local industry sponsorship, events as well as local sponsorships as requested by the market to drive brand building.
- Book local advertising for the market(s) and manage their local advertising plan; brief the creative and content team for development of advertising to support their plan.
- Create local associate referral programs and promotions to drive associate referrals for business development, including briefing for collateral for internal promotion.
- Develop a marketing plan to support FirstService Project Management Illinois that includes a focus on internal marketing targeting operations and external marketing targeting clients and pursuits.
- Lead the process to secure local photography and content from the market(s) for the global social media accounts. Identify PR-worthy stories and content, responsible for coordinating subject matter experts for PR opportunities.
- Manage the online reputation program including promotion of the program and managing reviews.
- Develop a marketing plan to support FirstService Project Management Illinois that includes a focus on internal marketing targeting operations and external marketing targeting clients and pursuits.

- Manage their local marketing budgets in partnership with the Director.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- 7+ years’ experience leading marketing campaigns required. Marketing experience within the property management industry or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience coordinating events that drive results aligned with company growth and retention goals.
- Works effectively with coworkers, clients, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.
- Must possess a high energy attitude and an ability to multi-task/prioritize different projects at any given time.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Compensation
$ 85000 - $ 90000 / year
