About the role

The Marketing Manager will work closely with the General Manager (GM) and will be expected to be a leader in developing innovative and impactful marketing strategies for our brand.

Responsibilities

  • Create and develop an annual marketing plan to maximize the marketing budget and drive traffic to the property while staying true to the brand identity of Marketstreet.
  • Embrace and actively integrate AI tools into daily workflows, proactively exploring new technologies to drive efficiencies and better outcomes across the business.
  • Frequently review and understand center sales and traffic trends and implement reporting strategy.
  • Create, plan, and orchestrate multiple events per month from conception to execution.
  • Oversee public relations for the property, working with the contracted PR firm to compose engaging press releases and materials, and working with influencers and maintaining relationships with local and regional writers.
  • Maintain and manage website presence, email list, and social channels with a focus on Instagram, constantly assessing the shifting social/media landscape and experimenting with emerging channels as deemed relevant.
  • Work in partnership with the WS Loyalty and Corporate Marketing teams to drive acquisition and engagement within MarketStreet's newly launched loyalty program, MarketStreet Insider, via compelling marketing campaigns and sales-driving initiatives.
  • Inform retail partners of marketing activities and support requests for on/off-site programming/activation where relevant.
  • Execute paid media programs inclusive of digital, OOH, and print channels as well as sponsorship efforts, as needed.
  • Manage the local production and use of on/off-site collateral material and distribution.
  • Partner with the GM to identify/create revenue-generating opportunities to achieve the financial goals of the property, including pop-ups, sponsorships, and brand partnerships.
  • Prepare, review, and understand marketing budget, financial, and various related reports.
  • Participate in tenant manager meetings, staff meetings, and other relevant management meetings, as necessary.
  • Act as a community ambassador and maintain excellent relationships with local organizations and town officials in collaboration with the GM.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business Administration or a similar field and at least 5 years of experience in marketing, event planning, social media planning, public relations, marketing, and media relations.
  • Retail experience is preferred, not required.
  • Excellent oral, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media channels (Instagram, Facebook).
  • Proficiency in marketing-based tools (Iconosquare, Canva, Constant Contact, Sweet IQ, WordPress).
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite products, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (plus).

This role is also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program.

Pay

The expected salary range for this position is $80,000-$90,000 per year. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
