About the role
HYROX is a global sports event series that combines running and functional fitness training in a unique race format. Founded in Germany in 2017, HYROX has evolved into a worldwide fitness movement with events across five continents, attracting tens of thousands of athletes every season. The Marketing Manager – USA will lead the strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives across the United States, driving brand awareness, community engagement, and event participation. Reporting to the Senior Regional Marketing Manager – The Americas, this role is responsible for translating global brand strategy into impactful regional campaigns and ensuring effective marketing execution across channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the U.S. marketing strategy, owning the annual marketing calendar to ensure alignment with event schedules and brand moments.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, PR, and partnerships, ensuring a consistent and premium brand presence.
- Manage and mentor the Content Marketing Manager – North America, providing strategic direction and fostering collaboration across departments.
- Lead the U.S. influencer and ambassador strategy, identifying and developing relationships with key athletes and community leaders.
- Oversee CRM and newsletter strategies to drive participant acquisition, retention, and effective lifecycle communication.
- Manage the U.S. marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and measurable ROI through advanced performance tracking and analytics.
- Partner closely with internal teams, including events, partnerships, and global marketing, to ensure seamless execution.
Requirements
- 6–8+ years in marketing, brand, or campaign leadership roles, ideally within the sports, fitness, or community-driven industries.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor team members and lead complex projects across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong experience in integrated marketing strategy and the ability to adapt global campaigns for the U.S. audience.
- Data-driven mindset with strong capabilities in reporting and campaign optimization.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- English fluency; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel to U.S. events and activations, including weekends.
- A genuine love for sport, fitness, or live experiences.
