Marketing Manager, FoundersBoost Global Accelerators
About the role
This is our first dedicated marketing hire. You’ll own marketing across our programs and help establish the strategy, systems, and playbooks that power future growth.
FoundersBoost serves founders, startup support organizations, investors, mentors, sponsors, and ecosystem partners. Until now, we’ve leaned heavily on our relationships across this large network and a significant amount of founder, mentor, partner, investor, and community outreach led directly by our team.
Responsibilities
- Design and own the marketing roadmap across the organization and our programs.
- Develop positioning, messaging, and campaigns that clearly communicate our value.
- Create and manage content and communications across our channels, including LinkedIn, newsletters, email outreach, and campaign assets, to build trust, engagement, and awareness.
- Help steward and activate our growing network through effective communications, audience management, and campaign execution.
- Strengthen and evolve the FoundersBoost brand, positioning, and messaging across programs, audiences, and channels.
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing performance, reach, engagement, and overall impact.
- Measure results, learn from what works, and continuously refine our approach.
- Collaborate with program leaders and our ecosystem partners on co-marketing initiatives.
- Establish scalable processes, systems, and playbooks that enable future growth and allow marketing operations to be delegated over time.
Requirements
5+ years of marketing experience owning strategy and execution, with a strong measurement mindset—ideally in investor/startup ecosystems.
Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to write significant amounts of copy yourself.
Experience translating broad business goals into measurable initiatives and priorities.
Experience with and strong interest in startups, accelerators, venture capital, or founder ecosystems.
Ability to operate with ambiguity and determine where to focus resources for maximum impact.
Strong marketing instincts, good taste, and comfort directing specialist support when needed.
Comfort building systems, processes, and repeatable workflows.
Fluency with AI tools and experience designing AI-assisted workflows that improve marketing execution, creativity, productivity, and scale.
Experience using CRM platforms to support communications, segmentation, and audience management.
Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision making.
Experience creating content across multiple channels.
Familiarity with modern search, SEO, GEO, and AI-driven discovery trends.
Significant overlap (5+ hours) with Pacific Time.
Qualifications
Compensation is $70–$100 per hour and based on experience.
