Marketing Manager

About the role

Turner Pest Control is seeking a Marketing Manager to drive lead generation, customer acquisition, retention, and brand growth across Florida. This role focuses on developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies that generate qualified leads, increase customer acquisition and retention, and support profitable growth. You'll oversee digital marketing initiatives, optimize campaign performance, and maximize return on investment while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies to generate qualified leads, increase customer acquisition and retention, and support profitable growth.
• Oversee digital marketing initiatives including Google Ads, Google Local Services Ads, local SEO, website optimization, landing pages, and conversion rate optimization.
• Partner with advertising agencies to optimize budgets, reduce cost per lead, and align marketing efforts with seasonal demand, technician capacity, and business objectives.
• Leverage customer insights, analytics, and marketing technology to improve the customer journey from first interaction through long-term retention.
• Support renewal and upsell campaigns, audience segmentation, CRM and marketing automation initiatives, call tracking, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to incorporate AI and emerging technologies to improve marketing effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on recruiting marketing initiatives as needed.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as lead generation, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, marketing ROI, customer lifetime value, organic traffic, and local search visibility.
• Manage the annual marketing budget, allocate investments based on ROI, forecast campaign spending, and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate projects with internal stakeholders and external partners, establish clear priorities, and serve as a trusted marketing resource for Operations, Sales, Finance, and Customer Service teams.
• Stay current on digital marketing trends, home services marketing, and emerging technologies to shape Turner Pest Control's marketing strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive marketing experience.
• Experience in pest control, home services, or other route-based service industries preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Strong understanding of local and performance-based marketing.
• Experience with CRM systems and marketing analytics tools, including HubSpot, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, CallRail (or similar), Local SEO platforms, and Meta Business Manager.
• Ability to balance growth goals with operational realities.
• Comfort working with data, dashboards, and financial metrics.
• Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and influence outcomes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
