About the role
The Marketing Manager will lead and shape the marketing efforts for Tri-State Energy's utility programs and the company overall. They will develop and execute a comprehensive strategic marketing plan to enhance brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and support revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities by sharing and tracking current market trends and research and using data-driven insights to optimize strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and industry stakeholders to enhance marketing impact and drive program success.
- Create overall blueprint and drive the execution of client projects.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and executive teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing marketing team.
- Oversee and prepare responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns that engage and grow our internal and external audience base.
- Help develop and implement marketing strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring measurable growth in brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue.
- Oversee and refine TSE brand positioning and messaging to ensure consistency across all channels including digital, print, and social media platforms.
- Manage marketing vendors.
- Structure and manage company marketing budget with a focus on allocation of resources to effectively maximize the return on investment (ROI) and ensure marketing campaigns are executed within budgetary constraints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
- Experience with RFPs, brand management, social media, digital marketing, and content marketing preferred.
- Strong ability to manage marketing projects, personnel, and vendors to drive marketing messaging.
- Awareness of market trends, lighting, construction, and contracting best practices.
- Experience with energy, sustainability, engineering, construction, and utility programs desired.
- Ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deliverables.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, active listening, and presentation, editing and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.
- Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment with multiple concurrent deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Adobe Acrobat/Reader, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Must reside in New Jersey.
