About the role
As a Marketing Manager at Taylor Morrison, you will work closely with the Area Marketing Director and the Vice President of Sales to meet consumer needs while maximizing company profits. You will leverage national marketing tools and campaigns, supplementing them with divisional strategies to provide creative, analytical, and organizational support. Your core responsibility will be generating quality leads and traffic, ensuring timely implementation of marketing programs in a fast-paced, evolving market.
Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation of all brand marketing initiatives and support division needs to hit strategic goals
- Partner with sales management to develop incentives, offers, and strategies for achieving sales goals
- Analyze lead, prospect, buyer, and market demographics to determine best-fit targets for direct marketing outreach and community action plans
- Oversee and track all division marketing initiatives, including:
- Managing all website information (static/interactive floor plans, site maps, pricing, community details, directions, photo galleries, etc.) and coordinating monthly web audits
- Providing information for digital and social media initiatives
- Producing and planning special projects and events
- Managing email schedules and tracking success with the Email and Marketing Automation Team
- Set up new sales offices, interactive sales offices (ISO), and model home experience items
- Order, coordinate, and install model exterior signage, entrance signage, and off-site signage
- Schedule, gather, organize, and maintain visual assets (photography, virtual tours, Matterport tours, videos, etc.)
- Develop and implement an annual division-specific marketing plan to drive qualified leads and traffic
- Create and manage the division advertising budget, including coding and processing invoices
- Manage Division Realtor Relations
- Act as liaison to Creative Studio and Corporate Communications to drive division initiatives
- Track results of all marketing initiatives, analyzing effectiveness to improve future efficiency
- Communicate between communities, divisions, regions, and corporate, including data analytics, strategy recommendations, and reporting
- Foster a fun, team-oriented culture to drive positive engagement
- Maintain and organize project files, spreadsheets, and resources
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Interview, select, and train employees; set pay rates and work hours; appraise productivity; handle grievances; discipline employees; determine work techniques and materials; plan budgets; monitor compliance; and ensure workplace safety
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 3–5 years of marketing experience
- Strong leadership skills, including managing team members, influencing stakeholders, and building trust
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and savvy computer skills
- Self-confidence, adaptability, and problem-solving ability in high-pressure situations
- Ability to lead analytical, strategic, and tactical efforts independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and detail-oriented skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Customer service-oriented with a focus on prioritizing the customer
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, delegating as needed
Essential Functions
- Report to the division/corporate office or community daily and adhere to schedule
- Oversee direct reports and provide guidance as needed
- Access, input, and retrieve information from computers/electronic devices
- Engage in face-to-face conversations with customers, coworkers, and managers
- Sit or stand for extended periods and move around the work environment
- Operate a motor vehicle
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Remain stationary for 50% of the time
- Frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
