Marketing Manager
About the role
The Marketing Manager will lead strategic marketing initiatives, develop and execute integrated campaigns, and leverage data to inform and optimize strategies. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role collaborates with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to drive engagement, utilization, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that align to business goals and drive awareness, engagement, utilization and revenue growth across key products and programs.
- Own product and value storytelling, translating complex offerings into clear, compelling value propositions and messaging frameworks that resonate with diverse member audiences and differentiate in the marketplace.
- Drive multi-channel campaigns across digital, email, social, web and event channels, optimizing the right mix to reach and convert target audiences.
- Leverage data to inform and optimize strategies, using audience segmentation, campaign performance metrics, and insights (engagement, conversion, behavior) to continuously refine strategies and improve results.
- Bring a modern marketing approach, utilizing AI tools and marketing technologies to enhance content creation, streamline workflows, and increase campaign effectiveness.
- Act as a strategic partner, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders to define goals, assess opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and deliver marketing solutions that drive impact.
- Evaluate incoming requests through a strategic lens, ensuring alignment, guiding stakeholders to the most effective approach, and protecting campaign integrity.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure cohesive execution, strong brand alignment, and high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
- Required: 5+ years of experience in marketing, ideally within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Proven ability to develop and execute integrated, multichannel campaigns that drive measurable outcomes.
- Strong experience using data, audience segmentation, and analytics to inform strategy and optimize performance.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to connect marketing efforts to business impact and growth.
- Exceptional communication skills with a talent for translating ideas into compelling, actionable messaging.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Experience in product marketing, education, events or membership-driven organizations.
- Prior experience in a trade association or mission-driven environment.
Benefits
NRECA offers a competitive salary range of $101,000–$124,000 annually, with final compensation determined by individual qualifications, experience, and internal equity. The position is eligible for NRECA's hybrid schedule allowing flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week.
