Marketing Manager

About the role

Headquartered in Covington, Louisiana, with branch locations in Deer Park, Texas, and Paducah, Kentucky, Laborde Products stands at the forefront of marine engine distribution. We represent industry-leading brands including Mitsubishi, Steyr Motors, Yanmar, and Scania Marine.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and implement a comprehensive marketing plan that supports the company's brands and business objectives.
• Research market trends, customer needs, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and recommend marketing strategies.
• Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and recommend improvements.
• Manage the company's website, photography, and social media platforms, including Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Develop advertisements, brochures, presentations, promotional materials, and other marketing collateral.
• Ensure consistent branding across all departments, locations, and customer-facing materials.
• Cook up company conferences, trade shows, promotional events, and marketing initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and support marketing team members by providing direction, accountability, and performance feedback.
• Manage relationships with external marketing vendors, agencies, printers, web partners, and other service providers to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements when appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
• Two or more years of marketing experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• High energy, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to think creatively while solving complex business challenges.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with individuals across multiple departments.
• Strong customer service mindset with a professional and mature approach.

Schedule

Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Additional evening, weekend, and travel commitments may be required to support business needs.
