About the role
The US Marketing function supports the strategic and revenue growth priorities of the US Bank. The Marketing Manager is responsible for end-to-end planning and delivery of integrated marketing activities, including marketing material development, multi-channel campaign execution, and brand and innovation banking campaigns. The role-holder will reinforce HSBC core values and ensure activity is aligned to a holistic strategy across channels and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end campaign planning and execution, building an integrated marketing calendar and campaign runway across channels
- Lead multi-channel campaign delivery from briefing and asset development through approvals, launch, optimization, and post-campaign reporting
- Turn business objectives and customer insights into clear campaign plans, messaging frameworks, and channel recommendations
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders/sponsors; act as a trusted advisor who can challenge constructively and drive decisions
- Manage agency partners end-to-end, including writing creative briefs, overseeing delivery, and evaluating performance
- Create and maintain marketing toolkits and enablement materials to support consistent execution across teams
- Oversee development of compliant, on-brand marketing assets and manage ad-hoc creative requests with clear scope and timelines
- Drive marketing operations and continuous improvement: project tracking, measurement/insights, budget/invoicing, and cross-geo collaboration to align standards and share best practices
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent professional experience) and experience in marketing, with strong experience in campaigns and/or lifecycle marketing; financial services or agency experience preferred
- Proven track record owning end-to-end campaign delivery (briefing, build, launch, optimization, and post-campaign reporting) across multiple channels, with clear accountability for outcomes
- Strong understanding of measurement and optimization, including defining KPIs, analyzing results, and translating insights into improvements for future waves
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation/CRM platforms (e.g., Eloqua, Mailchimp or similar), including audience selection/segmentation, email builds, testing/QA, and performance reporting (in partnership with data/ops teams as needed)
- Experience partnering with product, sales, digital, compliance/legal, and analytics teams to deliver campaigns in a regulated environment, managing approvals and governance effectively
- Strong project management skills: able to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, dependencies, and timelines, and keep stakeholders aligned
- Experience managing agency and vendor partners, including writing briefs, reviewing creative, and ensuring delivery to brand standards, timelines, and budget
- Congfident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills; able to influence decisions and simplify complex topics for different audiences; highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working at pace with changing priorities; continuous-improvement mindset
Pay
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and several variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
