About the role
We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Marketing Manager to help execute multi-channel marketing initiatives that support brand growth, lead generation, and customer engagement. This role is ideal for a hands-on marketer who enjoys creating content, managing campaigns, and coordinating projects across a variety of digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day posting, engagement, and monitoring across all social channels: Meta, Google Business Profile, Reddit, Nextdoor, Yelp, Angi’s List, YouTube, TikTok (new account launch), LinkedIn
- Develop and execute the content calendar in alignment with overall marketing strategy
- Repurpose existing content — case studies, blogs, testimonials, and reviews — for social use
- Respond to comments, messages, and reviews promptly; provide friendly and professional customer service where needed, escalating issues appropriately
- Create, edit, and publish engaging content (images, videos, captions, reels, etc.) optimized for each platform
- Act as the social-first face of the brand, creating short-form videos as needed for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram
- Proactively engage with aligned accounts, creators, local influencers and community organizations to grow GreenSavers’ referral and affiliate network
- Develop and execute initiatives such as giveaways, collaborations, and local event tie-ins to boost engagement
- Build and schedule marketing and nurture emails using Klaviyo or equivalent email platforms
- Maintain audience lists, segments, and automations
- Create compelling subject lines, CTAs, and visuals to maximize open and click-through rates
- Monitor email performance and suggest improvements based on metrics and trends
- Write and edit case studies, blog posts, and newsletters that highlight customer stories, projects, and brand expertise
- Collaborate with contractors, designers, and team members to create seasonal campaign materials
- Collaborate with Marketing Director to develop a content strategy and calendar for the CEO’s personal channels, supporting thought leadership and community engagement
- Support ongoing campaigns and launches by coordinating content, creative, and deadlines
- Update and maintain marketing collateral such as flyers, brochures, and presentations
- Auxiliary at in-person events and outreach efforts (e.g., trade shows, community events) as needed to capture content and share real-time updates
- Stay informed about industry trends, local events, and relevant policy or incentive updates in the green energy space
- Contribute to internal brainstorms, campaign development, and marketing planning sessions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of all major social and community platforms
- Experience creating video-first content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of Shopify and other website platforms
- Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar)
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills
- Strong organization and time management; ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Professional communication skills and on-camera confidence
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles (SEO, engagement metrics, audience segmentation)
- Interest in sustainability, home performance, and green energy industries
- Understanding of community engagement and reputation management platforms (Yelp, Angi’s, Google Reviews)
- Experience updating website content (WordPress, Shopify, or similar)
