Marketing Manager
About the role
4EG, a privately held, local company based in Cincinnati OH, is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team in the OTR office. Our mission is to enhance neighborhoods by creating the most enjoyable guest experiences for people to gather, eat, and drink. We operate a roster of exceptional establishments including Beeline, Igby’s, Japp’s, Killer Queen, The Lackman, Low Spark, Nice Life, Pilar, The Righteous Room, The Roosevelt Room, Rosedale, and The Stretch.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of locations, supervise marketing team members, hire, train, and develop staff, communicate effectively with staff, perform staff performance reviews, and manage relationships with external agencies.
Edit and oversee the social media content calendar for organic posts across all platforms, utilize paid advertising and/or boosted posts as needed, update and maintain the Wix websites of assigned locations, plan and execute email campaigns, develop search and display campaigns using Google Ads, manage location photography and videography needs, including editing of photos and videos to be used for promotions.
Coordinate and ensure delivery of operational supplies, plan special events at assigned locations, assist Marketing Director in coordinating sponsorship opportunities with local community events and activities, assist Private Party Sales Manager in planning private events using Tripleseat, maintain relationships with reporters and bloggers, update the company blog, The Garnish, with intriguing, timely articles, track and report on performance of marketing initiatives, analyze traffic, sales, and engagement data, and share results and recommendations with the Operations and Marketing teams.
Requirements
Unwavering attention to detail, proven results in driving traffic and revenue, proven skills and experience in the job duties outlined above, including social media, basic understanding of print design and production, ability to provide creative direction and written copy for execution, and event planning.
Ability to work under time pressures and defined financial limits to produce quality events and materials, establish and maintain positive, productive relationships with a diverse group of management teams, staff and 4EG vendors, effective team coach with emphasis on culture leadership and commitment to company standards of excellence, compliance with all company technology requirements, availability for evening and weekend work as job duties/deadlines demand, willingness and ability to travel, including nights and weekends.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related degree, 3-4 years of experience in marketing, events, and communications/public relations, 2-3 years of of direct supervisory experience, strong portfolio, some graphic design experience preferred, hospitality industry knowledge or experience a plus, previous work in a bar or restaurant strongly preferred.
