Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Coincides with Marketing Director to offer marketing support of sales/business development endeavors for the area office and marketing team.
- Independently completes pursuits including prequalification questionnaires, proposals and client presentations.
- Develops strategy and messaging for pursuits and marketing materials.
- Independently performs focused industry research.
- Manages submission of award applications and surveys.
- Provides writing for the corporate website, intranet and other marketing collateral materials.
- Coincides with Marketing Director to identify departmental enhancement areas.
- Aids in execution of resulting improvement plans.
- Entertains clients, joint venture partners, design partners and others as appropriate.
- Maintains historical project data in Client Relationship Management (CRM) database.
- Gathers, organizes and compiles project experience for use in project profiles for proposals, CRM and the website.
- Aids in maintenance of employee resume files.
- Aids in training of new members of the marketing department.
Management Responsibilities
- If necessary, will be assigned by the Director of Marketing.
- Safeguards and adheres to the matrix organization format.
- Ensures client satisfaction, both internally and externally, through positive, pleasant, professional and efficient handling of issues.
- Exercises good interpersonal skills by gladly assisting others to accomplish work of the organization, even if it is outside the scope of regular duties.
- Models and reinforces safety as a top priority of the organization. Always wears a hard hat and other appropriate personal protective equipment in the field.
- Puts into practice the values outlined in the Flintco Ethos.
- Mets schedules and deadlines, adheres to policies and procedures and maintains a good attendance/tardiness record.
Knowledge/Skills/Ability

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook software applications.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality service.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Graduate degree preferred.
Experience
- 7-15 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Occasionally, especially when managing multiple projects and during problematic opening and/or closing phases of projects, mental stress can be taxing.
- May be required to work long hours for extended periods of time.
