About the role

The Marketing Manager plays an integral role in supporting and promoting the Museum's various revenue channels, including admission, retail, events, dining, publicly-tickets concerts, and membership. This position focuses on the marketing, media buying, financial, and promotional needs of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and its affiliated brands.

Responsibilities

  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation for campaigns across Museum divisions that drive earned revenue and membership.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally and with external agencies to launch media buys and fulfill advertising secured including digital/social, print, radio, streaming, TV, outdoor, and other media.
  • Conduct market research and analyze performance metrics to optimize ongoing campaigns and inform future campaigns.
  • Manage marketing budgets for various Museum lines of business, ensuring effective allocation of resources, responsible expense management, and execution of plans that drive measurable results and positive return on investment.
  • Aid in the development and execution of digital, email, on-property, and paid social marketing strategies, as well as partnership promotions.
  • Help grow the Museum’s organic presence in both traditional search engines and AI-powered search results through SEO and GEO implementation.
  • Support eCommerce initiatives across store websites, emails, and social media.
  • Identify and pilot new marketing tactics to broaden the Museum’s reach, increase ticket and membership revenue, and promote ancillary revenue streams (retail, food and beverage, venue rentals, etc.).

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Digital, Communication or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years marketing experience; 1-2 years in revenue or performance marketing preferred
  • Proficiency in analyzing and reporting on campaigns (digital, paid, and otherwise)
  • Experience with MS Office, Google Analytics, CMS (WordPress, Shopify)
  • Knowledge of SEO, paid advertising, email marketing, and social media
