About the role
The Marketing Manager will play an integral role on our team, including Marketing Strategy, Brand & Positioning, Demand Generation, Marketing Execution, Sales Enablement, and Thought Leadership.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and execute the company's go-to-market strategy across medical, commercial, and defense markets.
- Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities.
- Refine and evolve the company's value proposition, messaging, and positioning.
- Own the Boston Engineering brand and ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints.
- Implement marketing KPIs and monitor progress.
- Create and optimize lead generation programs.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
- Produce and coordinate marketing content across multiple channels.
- Manage digital marketing including SEO, AEO, paid media, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
- Support thought leadership initiatives.
- Lead social media initiatives.
- Collaborate on white papers and related thought leadership.
- Manage trade shows, conferences, webinars, and customer events.
- Manage the marketing budget and prioritize investments.
- Coordinate external vendors and manage the corporate website.
- Ensure sales teams have current messaging, competitive intelligence, and marketing resources.
- Develop sales collateral and partner closely with the sales team.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in marketing and communications within B2B professional services, preferably engineering or product development.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, graphic design, engineering, data science, or liberal arts.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure marketing effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently.
- Experience developing marketing strategy while also personally executing marketing programs.
- A strong understanding of industrial, technology, engineering services, or B2B technical marketing.
- Experience with digital marketing, content development, CRM systems, marketing automation, and website management, including Salesforce, HubSpot, and WordPress.
- AEO and SEO competency.
- The ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and get things done.
