Marketing Intern

About The Role

Retronix and Velocity are seeking a Marketing Intern to support their Sales & Marketing teams. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in marketing within the electronics and semiconductor industry. Key responsibilities include:

• Aid in planning and executing marketing campaigns.
• Create engaging content for LinkedIn, the company website, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
• Design marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, flyers, and promotional content.
• Support the organization of exhibitions, trade shows, customer events, and webinars.
• Assist with pre- and post-event marketing activities.
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitor activity.
• Maintain and update CRM and marketing databases.
• Support lead generation campaigns alongside the sales team.
• Help prepare customer case studies, success stories, and technical marketing content.
• Assist with internal communications and company announcements.
• Monitor website and social media performance and prepare simple marketing reports.
• Support branding initiatives and ensure consistency across all marketing materials.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Experience

• Using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
• Knowledge of CRM systems.
• Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing.
• Experience with video editing or content creation.
• Interest in electronics, manufacturing, aerospace, defence, or technology industries.
