Marketing Intern
Position Summary
The Marketing Intern will support daily marketing activities related to brand awareness, content creation, social media, market research, internal communications, and campaign coordination. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and exposure to a wide range of marketing functions.
Essential Functions
- Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns
- Create and edit content for social media, emails, presentations, and other marketing materials
- Conduct market and competitor research
- Assist with social media scheduling and engagement monitoring
- Maintain marketing calendars and project timelines
- Help coordinate events, promotions, and internal communications
- Track campaign metrics and compile performance data
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for leadership meetings
- Collaborate with teams across sales, HR, and operations
- Complete other administrative and marketing-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently obtained a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions, regions, and organizational levels
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with leadership, cross-functional teams, and a variety of working styles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Creative thinking and a willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
- Knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other social platforms
- Basic understanding of marketing analytics and reporting

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines and smartphones.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate (verbal/written), converse with, and exchange information with others. The employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time; occasionally move between their workspace and office machinery. The person in this position must operate a computer and may operate other office machinery such as a copy machine, printer, calculator; and pull/retrieve/file documents in a filing cabinet. May need to position oneself to move between tight, high, or low spaces. Seeing abilities required by this job include detecting/identifying/recognizing/inspecting objects close to the employee, within a distance, peripherally, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
