About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team at Sewickley Academy. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in marketing, communications, or related fields to gain practical experience in a supportive educational environment. As a Marketing Intern, you will be instrumental in enhancing our school's digital footprint, engaging with our community through social media, and supporting the development of marketing campaigns. Working closely with the Director of Marketing and the Marketing and Branding Specialist, you will contribute to promoting Sewickley Academy’s mission, values, and programs to prospective families, current students and their families, alumni, and the broader community.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to marketing, communications, or a similar field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content.
• Proficiency in managing and navigating social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Creative mindset with an eye for design and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Basic photography and videography skills are preferred but not required.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Social Media Management: Develop and curate engaging content for our school's social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive interactions within our community.
• Content Creation: Capture high-quality photos and videos that highlight school events, student achievements, and campus life to be used across various marketing platforms.
• Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media and website performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Marketing Support: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including email outreach, promotional events, and community engagement initiatives.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm new ideas, implement strategies, and ensure consistent messaging aligned with the school's branding standards.
