About the Role
This part-time Marketing Internship provides administrative support to the Marketing department while assisting with the implementation of advertising, marketing, merchandising, and branding efforts for the dealerships. The role emphasizes embodying Thomas Automotive’s core values and philosophy in daily activities, focusing on customer and coworker relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Greet every customer, every day.
- Maintain high ethical standards when dealing with customers, co-workers, and vendors.
- Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment standards.
- Attend meetings as requested.
- Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations affecting sales.
- Assist with vehicle merchandising.
- Assist with implementation of all marketing and advertising for the dealership, including digital and traditional (e.g., print, radio, outdoor, POS, customer mailings).
- Assist with developing videos and social media posts for dealership advertising.
- Assist with dealership events and community involvement to enhance marketing and public relations efforts.
- Assist with tracking ROI for advertising and digital campaigns.
- Maintain a safe, clean workspace and ensure the facility is orderly and hazard-free.
- Assist with developing media for advertising campaigns.
- Assist with event planning and execution.
- Assist with merchandising and promotional items.
- Support the Marketing team with assigned projects and administrative duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Adobe Suite, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Valid in-state driver’s license.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Excellent communication skills.
Working Conditions
The Marketing Assistant works both indoors and outdoors, moving about the dealership facility and lot to communicate with colleagues, vendor representatives, and customers. Off-site events and meetings are required.
